Global Learning Field Fellowship in Uganda (GLFF)

The Global Learning Field Fellowship in Uganda is a hands-on international learning Global Health Fellowship programme offering students and early-career professionals an opportunity to gain practical experience, develop global health competencies, and engage with healthcare and community-based initiatives in Uganda.

Students do not provide medical care or independently perform clinical procedures. Instead, they participate as supervised observers and learners, gaining insight into how healthcare is delivered in a different health system and cultural context.

Students are placed in both community and clinical environments, offering exposure to healthcare in resource-limited settings, where adaptability, teamwork, and creativity are key. Through this program, students not only develop professionally but also gain empathy, humility, and a renewed global outlook on health equity.
